
Founded by George Eastman in 1920, ESL Federal Credit Union is one of the nation's largest and most sucessful credit unions. The credit union is building a six-story corporate headquarters in downtown Rochester that will feature energy efficient technologies. The project will cost $43 million.
Ward's Natural Science is adding over 52,000 square feet to their existing 262,000 square foot facility in the Town of Henrietta. Ward's has been the leading supplier of the highest qualify science education materials for high-school and college level biology and geology. The expansion, costing $2.3 million, will allow Ward's to expand catalog sales and distribution of educational products.
Klein Steel Service, Inc, a producer and distributor of steel and steel products, built a 63,000 square foot addition to its existing facility in the City of Rochester. The $8.8 million project will allow for more production capacity and new products.
Weldrite Closures, Inc. is a manufaturer of welded marine and isolation closures as well as flood protection products. The products include doors and hatches for ships and ocean drilling platforms. The company selected space at the Rochester Tech Park for its US manufacturing operations.
Castle Office Group, LLC constructed a new 80,000 sqare foot building of which 52,000 square foot is an off-site hospital-based ambulatory surgery service for Strong Memorial Hospital. It accommodates an Operating Room/Procedure Suite as well as pre/post-operative care space, a materials processing unit for instrument sterilization and preparation, and a family waiting area
